4
Seasons restorations may be placed using a traditional “shaded layering
technique” or using our new, simplified “anatomical technique” where,
for the first time ever, you can recreate nature by overlaying a highly chromatic
dentin shade
with one of three new “Value” shades.
With
4 Seasons, this
traditional shaded layering technique is made easier because each dentin
shade
Matches the corresponding enamel shade. With 4 Seasons True Color shades
and their calibrated
translucencies you can
create highly esthetic,
life-like results by
using just one shade
designation throughout
the
restoration. (e.g. A2 Dentin/A2 Enamel) With
4 Seasons there is no
need for “recipes".
Step
1:
Identify
the shade prior
to preparation. (e.g.
A2)
Step
2: Replace
the dentin
with the appropriate Dentin shade.
(e.g. A2 Dentin)
Step
3:
Replace the enamel
with
the appropriate Enamel shade.
(e.g. A2 Enamel) .
Step
4:
Finish and Polish
to a high luster.
This
simplified build-up technique echos the
true anatomy of teeth
by replacing
dentin with
a Dentin shade and
enamel with one of
three colorless Enamel Value shades. This
allows the highly
chromatic
dentin shade
to shine through the Enamel Value shade creating a true color
match and natural esthetics.
Step
1:
Identify
the "Value"
prior to preparation.
Step
2:
Match and replace the dentin with a highly
chromatic 4 Seasons Dentin shade.
(e.g.
A3.5)
Step
1:
Replace
the enamel
with the appropriate
pre-selected
"Value" shade. (e.g. High)
Step
4:
Finish
and Polish
to a high luster.
With
either technique, simply replace dentin with
a dentin shade and replace enamel with an enamel shade.
