Proper preparation is critical to the success of any restoration. The recommended preparation guidelines for IPS e.max lithium disilicate are similar to other restorative systems. There is no difference in the recommended occlusal reduction for IPS e.max lithium disilicate versus Lava and porcelain fused to metal posterior restorations.
