2. What is the difference between OptraDam® and conventional rubber dams?
The main difference between OptraDam® and conventional two-dimensional dams is the product's
three-dimensional flexibility and anatomical design. Thanks to this design, OptraDam® adapts to the oral cavity
completely tension-free. Therefore, no painful metal clamps are required. (top of page)

3. Can OptraDam® be placed by one person?
Yes, thanks to the integrated frame, OptraDam® can be inserted by one person without the need for additional
    assistance. (top of page)

4. How do I determine the positions for the perforations?

The dental arches are imprinted on the rubber dam. As the ring that sits inside the vestibule absorbs
all the tension, this universal imprint is equally suitable for all sizes of dental arches. (top of page)

5. How is OptraDam® kept in position without metal clamps?

The inner ring that is positioned in the area of the gingivobuccal fold pulls the latex into the
gingivobuccal fold and at the same time absorbs all the tension. (top of page)

6. Can I continue to use my rubber dam clamps?

Yes, if you still want to use rubber dam clamps, e.g. to separate teeth, you are free to do so. (top of page)
