latex? Is it potentially allergenic?
OptraGate® is entirely latex free and does not

OptraGate® is not recommended for surgical

the use of cotton rolls?
Cotton rolls will still be needed in most cases,

5. In what sizes is OptraGate® available
and how do I select the correct size?
One child size and two adult sizes are available.
The child size is suitable for patients between 5 and 1 0 years
of age. Size
Regular is designed for adult mouths in the medium to large size range and
size Small for smaller

6. How comfortable is OptraGate ® during
prolonged treatments?
OptraGate® is comfortable to wear for patients
over long periods of time, if the correct size has been chosen,
due to the
soft, flexible evoprene material.

7. Is OptraGate® (equally)
suitable for all types of patients?
As the size of the oral cavity does
not correlate with the size of the dental arch and mouth opening in
all individuals,
a secure fit of OptraGate® is not always ensured,
particularly in patients with a very flat vestibule. (top

8. Does OptraGate® trigger
the gag reflex - similar to a rubber dam?
OptraGate® is completely open at the
back. Most patients will not experience a gag reflex when

OptraGate® improves the accessibility and visibility
