Selectively Thinned Matrix Bands        
OptraMatrix helps to achieve predictable results and simplifies the creation of tight and large proximal contacts. OptraMatrix is an innovative matrix band which is used with proven Tofflemire* matrix retainers. OptraMatrix features a selectively thinned area where the contact is located to ensure adequate stability.
As a result of this thinned section, only a very small amount of foil is placed between the teeth during the
filling procedure.

No matrix material between the teeth, therefore no forceful separation with large wedges. Existing contact remains intact.
Outstanding cervical adaptation and seal.
Easy handling. No need to purchase a new application instrument or familiarize oneself with a new technique.
Selectively thinned to 10 microns in the contact area.
For two-surface cavities, the matrix features an opening ("window") for the intact contact.
Special boomerang shape.
Matrices are applied with conventional Tofflemire matrix retainers.
