On June 21, 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a pivotal decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., overturning the physical presence standard previously established in Quill Corp. v. North Dakota (1992). As a result, states are imposing sales and use tax collection obligations on sellers that lack physical presence; overturning two decades of precedent.
Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc will be charging and collecting state sales tax on products and equipment deemed taxable by your States's Sales Tax Regulations. As a wholesaler or manufacturer, some or all of your purchases may be exempt from your state sales tax. Please click on your state below, for details on applying for this exemption.
NORTH DAKOTA
Effective October 1, 2018, Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc will be charging and collecting North Dakota sales tax on products and equipment deemed taxable by Arkansas' Sales Tax Regulations. As a wholesaler or manufacturer, some or all of your purchases may be exempt from Arkansas sales tax.
In order to apply this exemption, we need one of the following forms completed and returned to us prior to October 1, 2018.
- SFN 21954 Certificate of Processing
- SFN 21950 Certificate of Resale
- Streamline Sales and Use Tax Agreement Certificate of Exemption
