One of the biggest challenges in today’s CAD/CAM practice is to produce anterior restorations that are not only functionally correct, but also esthetically pleasing. The objectives of the course are to provide theoretical and hands-on training in staining and glazing techniques of chairside ceramics for dentists, assistants and/or hygienists working in CAD/CAM offices.

     Topics covered will include:

Block selection criteria and utilizing the shade navigation app

Creating natural contours and surface texture for veneers, crowns, and bridges

Achieving natural shade effects on IPS e.max CAD and e.max ZirCAD restorations

Glazing techniques for completing a veneer, posterior crown, and anterior bridge

    •       Proper surface treatment for adhesive cementation
